Tiana Johnson-Blanton is the proud owner of MyLyfe Counseling Center. Pronouns are she/her/hers. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) here in the state of Texas. As a native of Detroit, Michigan, Tiana has earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. After moving to Texas, she earned her master's degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas. Tiana brings enthusiasm and authenticity to the therapeutic space when working with adults, couples, and families. Educating the community and corporations on topics such as healthy relationships, mental health, and wellness is truly one of her passions.
As a Black female therapist, Tiana values the importance of affirming and celebrating all identities. She thoroughly enjoys working with highly creative and innovative individuals: writers, artists, business owners, and CEOs. Tiana's approach to therapy is eclectic in nature and includes the use of Mindfulness and Meditation, EMDR, Racial Trauma Therapy, and Art Therapy to meet you where you are to help you move forward.
